On the last Friday of every month, we host ‘The Amble Film Society’ where we show a wide range of movies, both new and old.
Doors open 6:30pm, Film starts 7pm.

Dovecote Street Arts
Dovecote Street Arts CIC is a start-up social enterprise formed by Amble-based artists Luke McTaggart and Jim Donnelly..
We run a wide variety of events such as yearly exhibitions and:

Monthly sessions offer the chance for artists, professional and amateur alike, to come together along with interested members of the community to discuss their work in a positive and supportive setting. We had great turnout for the first event at the end of September and are very much looking forward to the next.
These sessions are usually held on the last Tuesday of every month.
Amble Men’s Shed
Men’s Sheds encourage people to come together to make, repair and repurpose, supporting projects in their local communities, improving wellbeing, reducing loneliness and combatting social isolation.
Sessions are held twice a week between 10am – 2pm. Keep en eye on our Facebook for details.
Amble Women’s Institute
Meeting on the second Monday of every month, here at Amble Women’s Institute, it’s our aim to create a fellowship of women, to gain new friends, learn new skills and make a difference in the community.
Weight Watchers at The Dovecote Centre
Tuesdays, 9am – 10:30am
WeightWatchers (WW) is a science-backed, sustainable weight-loss program focusing on a personalized Points® system rather than restrictive dieting. It promotes healthy habits through app-based tracking of foods, nutritious zero-point options, and community support.
